For the work behind the window
About Workroom Tools
Practical calculation tools for small drapery workrooms, fabricators and experienced makers.
Your methods, with the working shown
A useful estimate needs more than a final number. It needs the fabric widths, cut lengths and construction allowances that produced it. Workroom Tools keeps those decisions visible, so you can check a calculation against the way you make a treatment.
You choose the fullness, hems, seams and reserves. The tool connects those inputs to a fabric order and cutting list, without requiring an account or a move to a new work-order system.
Starting with drapery yardage
The first tool supports rectangular single panels or equal pairs, full-width vertical cuts, solid fabric or straight repeats, and independently calculated solid lining. Each result includes its assumptions and limits.
The site now offers 23 tools covering curtain headings, multi-window cutting plans, Roman shades, cushion and pillow covers, fabric and foam layouts, and production records. Ripplefold curtains, trapezoid cushions and curtain stackback have dedicated calculators. Each tool explains its supported construction methods, inputs and limits.
Keep your project close
Calculations run in your browser. You can save one project per tool on the current device, export a backup, or print a cutting list for the worktable. The site does not provide a cloud project archive.
